Hertsa has always been the quiet one, the observer on the sidelines. However, when Laina, the vibrant and enigmatic heart of her world, ends her own life under mysterious circumstances, Hertsa's world is shattered. Determined to end it all in the same way as her best friend, Hertsa is stopped by Midori, a sour, teal-haired girl who helps her uncover the most crucial details about Laina's passing.

As she delves deeper into the new life that Midori has gifter her, Hertsa starts to find her own voice.
